I perform regularly on a number of instruments:

Voice (lyric tenor), Recorders (bass, tenor, alto, soprano, sopranino), Electric and Steel-String Acoustic Guitars, Found Objects, Electronics, Electric Bass, Keyboards, and occasionally the Trumpet.

I improvise, and perform a variety of written music, including pieces written specifically for me by other composers.

I also have BANDS:

GUITARband is as many electric guitars as possible (core members: Mark Englemann, Toby Ramaswamy, Cody Nelson, and me) and Drums (usually Patrick Marschke). We plays riffs in hypnotic clouds. I write and direct all the music.

Debths is a really heady trio with Noah Ophoven-Baldwin (cornet), Cole Pulice (saxes), and me (guitars).

Realtree is a sort of chamber quintet that specializes in the gnomic and idiosyncratic compositions of Noah Ophoven-Baldwin. We also improvise quite a bit. Michelle Kinney (cello), Carley Olson (clarinet), Noah OB (cornet), Patrick Marschke (drums), Me (guitars).

Knitxing performs on knitting machines (Elektra Wrenholt) and live electronics (me).

Lip Gym is a woodwind quartet with Carley Olson-Kokal, Taylor Wisgerhof, and Mitch Stahlmann.

Six Families did all kinds of stuff with lots of friends. Loads of improvising and experimenting (now defunct).

And I appear on Recordings, including:

Binary Canary's "bc+1"

Sister Species “Heavy Things Do Move”

Drone Band “Abulm”
